A place to begin

Whether you're looking to make a change, explore your thoughts and feelings, or simply make sense of things, counselling can offer a safe space to begin.

Finding the right therapist isn't easy. There are many different approaches and countless profiles to read through, but what matters most is whether you feel comfortable enough to begin.

I believe meaningful counselling starts with listening—with genuine curiosity, compassion and heart. My aim is to create a space where you feel safe enough to speak openly, without judgement or pressure, and where we can explore whatever is bringing you here.

How we can work together

Whether you're looking for a space to explore your thoughts and feelings, or want to deal with a particular issue we'll find a way of working that feels right for you.

I work primarily from a person-centred perspective, believing that being genuinely heard and understood can itself be deeply healing.

I'm a pluralistic counsellor, which means I don't believe one style of therapy suits everyone. Instead, I adapt my approach to meet your needs.

For some people, that means an open, reflective space where thoughts and feelings can be explored. For others, it might include more structure, working towards goals or practical exercises between sessions. I aim to adapt my approach to what feels most helpful for you, whether that's quiet reflection, practical support, or gentle challenge when you're ready for it.

Online and Walking Therapy

I offer online counselling, making therapy accessible wherever you are and easier to fit around work, family and everyday life. Whether we're sitting together online or walking side by side outdoors, my aim remains the same: to offer a space where you feel genuinely heard.

Walking Therapy

Sometimes it's easier to talk when we're moving forward rather than sitting still.

Alongside online counselling, I also offer walking therapy.

For many people, being outdoors can create a different kind of therapeutic space. Walking side by side often feels more natural than sitting face to face, allowing conversations to unfold more easily and without the intensity that some people experience in a traditional therapy room.

The gentle rhythm of walking, fresh air and being surrounded by nature can help people feel calmer, more grounded and more able to reflect. For some, it becomes easier to find the words when there isn't the expectation of maintaining eye contact or sitting still.

Living in such a beautiful part of the world, we have the opportunity to meet in peaceful natural surroundings where the environment itself can become part of the experience.

A little bit about me

At the heart of my work is the belief that being truly heard

can be deeply healing.

I don't believe in having all the answers.

Instead, I aim to create a space

where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, develop

a deeper understanding of yourself, and find a way forward that

feels right for you.

The phrase I return to most often is "listening with heart".

For me, this means bringing warmth,

curiosity and compassion to every conversation,

and meeting each person as an individual

rather than a problem to be solved.
